What crimes, if any, do you believe may have been committed by the owner and his various employees? List the employees and the crime(s) each may have committed. The employee A entered the office premises after closing hours, through unauthorized access point and stole the money belonging to the company. Therefore crime committed by the employee is unauthorized access and theft. The employee B is holding the owner to ransom to fulfill his demand. Crime committed by the employee is consumption of alcohol at workplace, ransom and threat to cause damage to the property under the influence of alcohol. Employee C stalks a fellow employee and shoots him to death. Crime committed by the employee is Stalking and murder. Employee D is guilty causing fire and damaging the property by negligence. Employee E places a set of tools in his lunchbox and takes them home to keep for his own uses. Crime committed by the employee is stealing company property. Employee F pulls a knife on a customer and demands “your money or your life.” Crime committed by the employee is kidnapping, ransom and causing threat to life. Owner G offers $25,000.00 to a local zoning officer in order to have him vote favorably on your request to have the corporate business location rezoned to an industrial use, a move which would make the property very valuable. Crime committed by the owner is offering bribe to a government official for economic gains.
