This question is from Chapter 5 of the Textbook called International Management by Fred Luthans (9th edition):

Last week on the forum there was some discussion of bribery. Bribery is an acceptable practice in many countries and unacceptable (and illegal) in other countries. When there are opposing perspectives on an issue, it can be difficult for the MNC to create an effect strategy for an issue of this sort. I'd like us to have a conversation about bribery this week. We can use this example to look at the difficulties associated with "managing across cultures" (this week's chapter). I'm providing a link here about bribery that might give you some background, but we don't need to limit our conversation to China since this is a problem with many countries.

What would you advise an MNC to do if they are trying to do business in a country that is perfectly comfortable with bribery? Feel free to use any of the typologies from the chapter to help with your answer.

Their are very less countries who allow doing business in a country that has comfrt in taking bribery.Bribery has been a serious challenge for the nation as this is a form which threatens the other of dire consequnces. Bribery can be of money and threatning of life. This is seen especially in the African,Asian countries where the young generation are getting into bribery which have either resulted into injury or death In bribery the terrorist or the person who is getting into unwantedactivities needs to ensure that he should not abide towards these activities. My advise to the MNC is not to support this type of activities as this will result into more youths and young generation getting into this activity. No matter any country where the bribery is accepted we should ensure and never resort into these untoward activities. Bribery is an illegal form which has been adopted by the Miscreant elements who choose an easy way to bribe those MNCs company who have been doing business with them.
