Think about your career or industry. How have you seen blogs, Facebook or Twitter used to facilitate business growth or to build relationships with key publics? Please respond to Ute initial question by day 5 and be sure to post two additional times to peers and/or instructor b post by day 5 should be 75 to 150 words, but may go longer depending on the topic. If you use any source outside you should reference that source. Include solid grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and spelling.

Explanation / Answer

A. Writing emails is a different form of communication when compared to face to face conversations. Communicating through emails is less personal when compared to communication in the form of face to face conversations or interactions. As such, the thing that has to be considered when writing an email is that the use of language should be appropriate. For instance when writing a business email, a formal and polite language has to be used. In case of face to face communications, emphasis has to be given to body language as well. A positive body language will increase the impact and efficacy of the message. However, body language has no relevance in case of emails.

Email and printed document: Usually, emails are addressed to a particular individual or a small group of people. Thus the consideration to be made is that the email should be to the point and should address the important issues and topics. Printed documents, on the other hand, are usually meant for a large number of people (for example the annual report of a company). It can be lengthy and can have detailed explanation of various issues.
