Explanation / Answer
1) BP seems never gained anything but loss its reputation while using social media, BP campaign bought promotional activities in google and yahoo for the searching about oil spill incident and BP were asked to social media to write the positive articles about the cleaning the oil spill apart from that $50 million cost they were spent in the TV also about the cleaning process in the oil spill incident.
2)Unfortunately BP had a oil spill disaster, why BP higher authorities chosen the social media to post as advertisement about clean activity this was considered to be a bad choice, if the disaster happened how many living beings lost it lives as well as human beings especially fisher people were lost their work it was affected the natural so people get anger with BP, why this organization searched its reputation even this is hard situation. Better they couldn't ask support from social media i believe BP don't get parodies.
3) Why BP underestimated oil spill they may be two reasons, first really they don't know about oil spill real fact so they were underestimated, second if they were estimated correctly they have to pay high level of liability so they might fear and to save the loss for the organization.
4)Yes, I think so, He was mentioned clearly he don't know about the disaster situation and injuries once he came to know about the injury and damage asked apology, so at my point of view it is acceptable.
