respond to the post and say whether you agree or disagree with the student's analysis and why.

CLAS standards are among the many ways to maintain the health of minorities across the nation, and to keep cultural competency with the standards as well. According to the video “The National CLAS Standards in Health and Health care: A Tool for Tribal Communities”, there are fifteen standards, many basic cultural characteristics that describe how a person is, numerous standards on work ethics, acceptance, and other guidelines as well. The standards are relevant to health care these days due to how the world is ever-changing and people must get used to the way the world works, rather than be among those who are ignorant. People are not supposed to be stubborn and close-minded, they should be open-minded, ready to change, and ready to become accustomed to numerous amounts of changes that happen in not only the nation, but the world as well. These standards are basically guidelines for those in health care to become introduced and inducted into the new world while still maintaining their reputation, and maintaining their credibility as well.

When evaluating the training of health professionals, the approaches are the most important thing, and they are vital to attaining a good amount of information. However, when these evaluation processes occur, people must be discreet about them in order to try and put less stress on the worker, and less rejection from the worker as well. There are many ways to attempt this, with one being the influence of the coworkers. Though people tend not to respect their superiors, they feel as if their coworkers can persuade their colleagues into doing certain activities, as well as get information on their colleagues’ opinion of the job and/or the program. Another possible approach would be asking their thoughts at a meeting. This shows how they feel on the program as well, and also shows their open-mindedness. A final approach would also be to generally ask if all else fails. Yes, it is blunt and may not be a good approach, but it is the best for attaining certain information, even if they may attend the event or not.
