Your business purchases shoes wholesale from major manufacturers like Nike and Adidas and resells them to consumers. Your target market consists of long-distance runners who do 5K and 10K races and marathons. As we are selling the shoe Online, we need to have a extensive database, which helps any of the customer (Athelete) to select the best fit for him/ her.
This data must conpromise of the follwing entities: -
1. Standerd parameters like - size of shoe, brand, color, design, weight, etc.
2. As this shoe will have extensive implecations on the performance of the athelete, it must contain the technical data: - leg clearence, type of grip, type of shoe lace, density of material, material of sole, softness of various parts of shoe sole, etc.
3. Based on the past experience of the various Athelete (as per various categories of 5k, 10k m race) who have used different types of shoes, suggestions must be given to the new buyers.
4. Data can include some features that are not necessary but are delighters, like capacity of soke sweat.
Some of the business rules that will apply to these entities are: -
All this praments must be incorporated in the database and customer can select the shoe which fulfills the above criterion.
