Ethics concern about an individual’s moral judgments about right and wrong. There are various decisions that have been made in a management process but its validity that if follows the right course of action depend upon the morality of decision maker. Culture of a company has great influence on ethical nature of decisions. Consideration of ethical practices in a decision making process some-time lead short term loss but it saved the company from bigger loss that may happen in future. Ethical practices in management are important as it can improve the longevity of business and make it profitable. Ethical behavior of an organization attracts customers to the firm product thereby boosting sales. It makes employee to stay with business thus increases productivity. It also attract investors and keep the company’s share high. Unethical behavior may damage a firm’s reputation and make it less attractive to shareholders.

Ethical training is not a futile process because brings awareness among the employees about ethical practices and how to handle unethical situations. It showcases various situations which seem attractive at initial stage but due to its unethical nature it proves to be detrimental for the organization. It also tells about the corrective and preventive action and whom to contact in those situations. Ethical training have direct impact on ways of doing business thus plays an important role in grooming of employees.

I believe bechtel is known for its ethical practices in doing business. The company has gain a major market share and creates its own brand in the market where clients is always ready to do business.
