Main activities are Hiring, enrichment of employees and make them more productive and fullfilment of resource to mee the organisational objectives.

2. Of the various steps in Barcelona’s employee selection process, the job interview is the most brief. Do you agree with the company’s approach to interviewing? Why or why not?

Yes, I do agree with company interview process. It gives more perspective approach on a particular skill sets. Job interview need not be always lengthy, within short interview itself interviewer can comes to a conclusion if the questions and approaches are very precise and to the point.

3. Describe Barcelona’s three-stage process for matching job applicants with its organizational objectives, and explain how each stage reveals the fit between job applicants and the needs of the restaurant.

.Apart from interview being done by face to face, the CEO would send them with $100 to visit two other rstaurants and to bring their insight on the visit. It is a very challenging round and the candidates will be tested on their perspective capabiloity on restaurants and how good thy could able to understand the best practices of other restaurant.The final selection is based on their performance on on job training where how they will interact with their customers ( makes friends out of it), talking and interaction with staffs and how they take command over the restaurant floor etc. Thus te enitre process might look bit lengthy but still it shows the accrucacy in hiring according to the company requirement. The customer service industry requires such kind of dedication and comitement as well as passion.
