from the restriction analysis only Poolman (P) can be the father. kid is a hybrid of mother and father. that is obvious from genetic inheritance. the 1st and the last band of the kid which are found is not present in the mother and are therefore father's band. these two bands are only present in Poolman. Restriction RFLP analysis is based on the patten of cutting the genomic DNA with specific restriction enzymes and probing with specific known sequences for detectation.
