1) Given that atmospheric pressure = 29.86 inHg = 29.86 inches of Hg

                                                    = 29.86 x 25.4 mmHg        [ 1 inHg = 25.4 mmHg]

                                                    = 758.4 mmHg

Therefore,

Pressure of the gas mixture collected above the water = 758.4 mmHg
