1. Is oxygen a slow killer, and the reason we as carbon-based lifeforms do not live long? Humans need oxygen for basic survival, it is how energy is created in our cells. However, oxygen can also be toxic, and if released into the body in the form of free radicals, can and will wreak havoc.

2. What if protons and neutrons are meant to balance out instead of electrons?I know that protons and electrons are meant to balance out, but what if neutrons took the place of the electrons and balanced out with the protons instead? What would happen? How would this change everything?

NOTE: type the answer

Explanation / Answer

Neutrons are heavier than electrons. If neutrons have -1 charge and balances out protons, the atoms will be much heavier. Also, due to heavy mass, it will be difficult for the protons to control the neutrons and as a result atoms will become unstable.
