Explanation / Answer

Answer 5 a) LDL

Reason- LDL stands for low-density lipoprotein and HDL stands for high-density lipoprotein. while LDLs are involved in the transportation of cholesterol to the cells, HDLs are involved in reverse cholesterol transport when there is an excess of cholesterol in the body. HDL is synthesized inside the liver and secreted into the circulation. during this process, HDL gets matured and brings back the excess cholesterol and LDL to the liver. there, LDL is processed and removed out of the cells into bile salt form.

Answer 6 c) Membranes

Reason - Cell membranes are composed of phospholipid bilayers where the polar head groups of the phospholipids make the peripheral domain of the membrane and hydrophobic tail makes the transmembrane domain of the membrane.
