4 NH3 + 6 NO = 5 N2 + 6 H2O

First calculate the moles of NH3 in 10.0 g as follows:

Number of moles = 10.0 g / molar mass

= 10.0g / 17.031 g / mole

= 0.587 moles NH3

Now calculate the moles of N2 as follows:

0.587 moles NH3 * 5 mole N2 / 4 mole NH3

= 0.734 Moles N2

= 0.734 Moles N2 *28.013 g / moles

= 20.55 g

Percentage yield = observed yield / theatrical yield *100
