A 0.30 M aqueous solution of KCI was saturated with KHP. Solid KHP was filtered from the mixture to leave a saturated solution. b: As 1:1 STOICHIOMETRY, moles of HP- = 9.1e-3 moles

c: conc of HP- = moles/volume = 9.1/0.025 = 0.36363M

d: K+ initial = 0.3M ( KCl initial solution)

e: K+ from dissolved KHP = 0.36363M

f: K+ sat = 0.3M + 0.36363M = 0.66363M

g: Ksp = K+sat x HP-sat = 0.66363 x 0.36363 = 0.24
