(a) Since the dissolution reaction occurs spontaneously, the sign of deltaG is negative.

(b) As the solid NaNO3 spilts into ions and they freely move in the solution, so, the randomness or disorderness of the system increases. Hence entropy of this dissolution process increases.

(c) (i) Since with increase in temperature, dissolution of NaNO3 increases, indicating that the dissolution process is endothermic. Because raise in temperature favours endothermic reaction.

(c) (ii) Yes. As increase in temperature, increases the value of - TdeltaS term, which causes overall negative sign for deltaG.
