Question
Hi! I'm doing a virtual lab to makeup points and I'm stuck. If you could help me that'd be great thank you!
The lab is titled "Determination of the Concentration of an Unknown NaCl solution via Solubility and the Common Ion Effect." We had to create an aqueous solution of AgCl using 0.001906 g of AgCl and a 1000.0 ml volumetric flask and calculate it's molarity:
0.001906 g AgCl x 1 mol AgCl/143.32 g AgCl = 1.330 x 10^-5 mol AgCl -> 1.330 x 10^-5 mol AgCl/(1000.0 x 10^-3 L) = 1.330 x 10^-5 M
Then, from there we are supposed to calculate the mass of NaCl in the unknown solution using the given Ksp of AgCl = 1.830 x 10^-10. I don't know what to do from here and we only get three chances to try it before we can't try again.
Thank you again for your help!

AgCl2 (s) + 2 Na OH (aq) = Ag (OH)2 (aq) +2 Na Cl (aq)
AS PER THE ABOVE REACTION,
Ksp = [ Ag(OH)2 ] [ Na Cl ]
= 1.830 x 10-10
THEN, [ Na Cl ] = 1.830 x 10-10 / [ Ag+2 ]
FOR EVERY TITRATION , YOU HAVE TO CALCULATE HE CONCENTRATION.
FOR Eg., AS PER THE TABLE, 1.830 x 10-10 / 6.47 x 10-11
= 2.83
FOR EVERY TITRATION , YOU HAVE TO CALCULATE HE CONCENTRATION AND REPEAT THE SAME.
