Le Chatelier's principle can be used in practice to understand reaction conditions that will favor increased product formation.

If we add additional product to a system, the equilibrium will shift to the left, in order to produce more reactants. So increasing the amount of a product shits equilibrium towards reactants side.

Decreasing the amount of product will shift the equilibrium to the right (product side).
