Yes our test food generated a 200 bp band with GMO primer ( lane 4)
GMO status of food is positive
We have to cinfirm other PCR reactions and whether palnt primers determine if the DNA was successfully extracted. GMO positive template must amplify PCR reactions.
The plant primers determine whether plant DNA was successfully extracted from the sample. The non-GMO food control is an indicator of false positive results, should they occur. If the non-GMO food control comes out asGMO-positive if there is a band in lane 2 it means that the PCR was contaminated at some point during processing. The
GMO-positive template control is an indicator of false negatives.
