Question
Use Le Chateliers principle to predict whether each the following changes causes the system to shift in the direction of products or reactants: HCHO_2 (aq) + H_2O (l) rightarrowoverleftarrow CHO_2^- (aq) + H3O^+ (aq) adding some CHO_2^- (aq) in the direction of the products in the direction of the reactants removing some HCHO_2 (aq) in the direction of the products in the direction of the reactants removing some H_3O^+ (aq) in the direction of the reactants in the direction of the products adding some HCHO_2 (aq) in the direction of the reactants in the direction of the productsExplanation / Answer
answer=
according to principle equlibrium shift that direction where effect of changes will be nullify...
1..if add CHO2- than concentrion product ,increase so move at reactants side so equilibrium maintain as it is.
2..if remove HCHO2 than concentration of rectant side down compire to product so move at reactant side so equilibrium maintain as it is.
3..if remove H3O+ than move at product side
4.. on adding HCHO2 move at product side..
