Explanation / Answer

1)

The picture has to be uploaded after preesing the "Click to begin" on the image. Then it will do the titration and show the final buret reading.

Here I am assuming final reading ( after pressing "Click to begin" on the image) as 15.0 mL

Therefore, V2 = Volume of NaOH used = final reading of buret - initial buret reading = 15.0m L- 0.0 mL = 15 mL

Answer:- Volume of NaOH needed for reaching the endpoint of titration = V2 = 15.0mL

2)

given,

V1= 10.0 mL ; M2 = 0.110M ;

V2 = 15.0mL ( obtain from first part)

M1 = ?

We know that, at the end point of titraton,

V1M1 = V2M2

where, V1 = Volume of HCl (mL)

M1 = initial concentration of HCl ( M)

V2 = Volume of NaOH consumed in titration (read from the buret reading )(mL)

M2 = concentration of NaOH ( M)

M1 = V2M2 / V1

= (15.0* 0.110 ) / 10.0

= 0.165 M of HCl

Therefore, Intial concentration of the HCl = 0.165 M
