(a) what reagent would you add to the system to dissolve Sbocr (b) What reagent would you add to precipitate SboCI? 2 In the Haber process for the preparation of NH, which is given by the equilibrium state the conditions of concentration and NH, temperature that will favor the production of 3. The equilibrium reaction for an indicator is represented by blue yellow What is the color of the indicator solution when [In'] [HIn]?Explanation / Answer
Ans 1 :
The system at equillibrium always tends to maintains its equillibrium and cancel out any effect on the system by moving in either of its direction ( Le chatelier's Principle).
a) When more of HCl is added to the system , the reaction moves in backward direction to cancel its effect , hence SbOCl gets dissolved.
b) When more of H2O is added to the system , the reaction moves in forward direction , so the SbOCl precipitates out in the product.
