A) initially only H2O is present therefore solution is neutral. on adding HCl concentration of H+ ions will increase and hence pH of solution will be lower
B) Initially HNO3 is present which makes the solution acidic . on addition of KNO3 there will be no change in the concentration of H+ ions therefore pH will remain same
C) Initially HNO3 is present which makes the solution acidic . on addition of KOH , acid base neutralization will take place and hence concentration of H+ ions will come down => pH will increase i.e. value will be higher
D)initially only H2O is present therefore solution is neutral. on adding NaCl , there will be no effect and hence pH value will remain same
