Explanation / Answer

1 Concussion, a trauma of brain (brain injury) that typically caused by violent shock or blow to head.

2. Subdural hematoma, the damage blood vessels between the brain and its outer membrane (inside the dura) leads to leakage of blood in that area causes the compression of brain tissue. Whereas, in epidural hematoma, damage of blood vessels typically takes place between skull and outside of the dura (an outer membrane that covering the brain).

3. Loss of consciousness for a brief period, confusion, loss of memory, dizziness, blurring vision, headache, vomiting, imbalance, draining of blood from ears or nose, slurred speech etc.

4. It functions as a shock absorber and protects the nerves that run down through the spine and disks.

5. Catastrophic cervical spine injuries (due to axial loading of cervical spine)

6. Nerve compression in the lumbar spine (may be sciatica)

7. Loss of consciousness occurs only for 15 minutes in 1o concussion and the other symptoms will disappear within 24 hours if loss of consciousness last for more than 15 minutes that is 2o concussion and the other symptoms will disappear only after 5 to 7 days.
