To round up numbers in the chemistry, we have to follow some general rules.
1. Whenever to round off adigit , look at the digit just present on the right of it. If it is 1 ,2 , 3 or 4 , simply drop it.
2. If the digit on the right is 6,7, 8 or 9 , add one to the digit to be rounded off.
3. If the digit on right is 5 , then make sure that the rounded digit must be even.
For example : 3.415 and 3.425 both will rounded off as 3.42
