Real and upside down     Since the object distance is greater than the focal length.

Part B)

using the lens equation

1/f = 1/so + 1/si

1/30 = 1/45 + 1/si

si = 90 cm

Part c)

ho = object height = 1.5 cm

hi = image distance

Using the equation

hi/ho = - si/so

hi / 1.5 = - 90 / 45

hi = - 67.5 cm
