2. At this point, you have completed many titrations (probably more than you would have liked). You know they can be both precise and accurate. There are currently available many different models for auto-titrators, that is an instrument that will titrate for you! If you were the marketing director of a small instrument manufacturer, what 3 features would you include in your auto-titrator if you were to start manufacturing them and why would those features be included? Auto-titrators are now a days more available in the market. The must have features of an auto-titrator are:
1. No manual measurement in order to avoid the human error completely. The machine should do it all.
2. The sensors(electrodes) used in an auto-titrator that senses the change in pH should be replacable and/or multiple in number according to the type of reaction involved. Thus the machine can be useful for redox or precipitation titrations as well.
3. The machine can plot the titration curves itself using the inbuuilt software. This way the human error is minimized.
