Each VNTR63 repeat is 10-bp in length. A person with VNTR63-2 has two VNTR63 repeats in the region while someone who has VNTR63-4 has four VNTR63 repeats in the region . if there are 5 different VNTR alleles at the VNTR63 locus, then how many genotypes would be possible in the population (ie V63-1/V63-2 would be one genotype)?
