Question

Conditional Formatting Formula For Multiple Options

Hello....

I am having trouble getting this to work with multiple options.

Is there a way to do a wild card in the formula?

What we have that works: $A2="CP - Store 12345"

But there are five Stores that we all want to format to the same color. All stores will have the leading "CP - " part. If the person doesn't have a store in their name, then it should ignored them. How can we get it to format just those with the CP lead?

Data example:

Column A:

Smith, Jim

CP - Store 12345

Brown, Jon

CP - Store 98765

Etc.

Thank you !!!

Explanation / Answer

Hi..

Hi,

Try this, conditional format, use a formula
