Conditional Formatting if cell contains the same text than another cell on another sheet Hello everyone this is my first post, I hope it makes sense! I am a complete begginner with excel so bare with me, Okay so I have a column Sheet1!C4:C28 that when I type text in such as "Testing1", I want it to check if it exists in Sheet2 and if it does, change the colour of that cell to green. I have a column in Sheet2 with text already in it that I want it to check, Sheet1!B2:B15. Can anyone help please? How do i set up conditional formatting to do: IF (text from) Sheet1!C4:C28 equals (any text from) Sheet1!B2:B15 turn cell green

Hi..

Select C4:C28 on Sheet1.

On the Home tab of the ribbon, click Conditional Formatting > New Rule...

Select 'Use a formula to determine which cells to format'.

Enter the formula

=ISNUMBER(MATCH(C4,Sheet2!$B$2:$B$15,0))

Click Format......

Activate the Fill tab...

Select a suitable fill colour..

Click OK, then OK again/.
