Quick question on Pivot Tables; how to produce a report of the number of times an item respectively appears in a sheet?

How does make a Pivot Table to show how many times a specific item respectively appears in a sheet? For example, if I had a sheet with a list of employees of a company who spoke more than one language, and I wanted to log which specific language a person spoke, and wanted to return, for example, a list of times that one encounters an employee who speaks Japanese, how could I produce a report which features the number of Japanese speakers? In this hypothetical sheet, I include the name of the person who speaks more than one language.

1. Drag Language to the Report filter and Names to the Row labels

2. Drag Language to the Value area section
