Question

I've never used MS Access before, and my professor requested that software be used for this homework problem:

For part D, I think that I have the correct formula so far "PricePerStudent: [Price per Day]*[Duration]/[Capacity]" for the technical classes, but not sure what I'm supposed to do for the non-technical classes since there can be 2 scheduled for a given day. Do I have to setup a different column so that there is one for technical and one for non-technical, or is there a way to have this reflected in the same column?

Explanation / Answer

Please use the single column 'technical'(boolean) that takes yes or no to indicate whether the course is technical or non-technical.

In case it is technical, for part D please put a condition that if the 'techical' column value is yes, reduce the cost that you get using your formula to half its value. This is because in case of HOTT's technical training, full day training cost will cover two sessoins of training in a day.
