Explanation / Answer

The precipitate forms indicate that it may be PbCl2 andAgCl. So, these two ions are present in the solution. After the precipitate is removed, brown precipitates form. This maybe Fe(OH)3, which is brown in colour. Thus, it is deduced that Ni+ is not present in theoriginal solution as it doesn't seem to be involved in anyreactions above. Hope this helps!
