empirical formula 59 g *( 1mol /12 g) = 4.91666667 mol C 7.1 g H * ( 1mol / 1 g) = 7.1 mol H 26.2 g O *( 1mol / 16 g) = 1.6375 mol O 7.7 g N *(1mol / 14 g) = 0.55 mol N Divide by 0.55 => 4.916/0.55 = 8.93818182 mol C => 7.1 /0.55 = 12.9272727 mol H => 1.6375 / 0.55 = 2.97727273 mol O =>   0.55/0.55 = 1 mol N => C9H13O3N   empirical formula mass of empirical formula = 9*12 + 13*1 + 3*16 + 1*14= 183 g ~ 180 So empricial formula is molecular formula :C9H13O3N (google epinephrine molecular formula, and you will see this is thecorrect chemical formula)
