Question
Question: A gas-filled balloon having a volume of 2.50L at 1.2atm and 20 degrees C is allowed to rise to the stratosphere (about30 km above the surface of Earth) where the temperature andpressure are -23 degreess C and 3.00 x 10^-3 atm respectively. Calculatethe final volume of the balloon. What I'm stuck on: I'm not sure what Gas Law equation to use.At first, I thought of using the ideal gas law PV=nRT and find V,but I'm not sure I can assume that P and T is constant. Am I on theright track or I'm going the wrong way. Thank you in advance.
