Fe3+(aq) + SCN-(aq) <==> FeSCN2+(aq)

here SCN- is in two form NaNCS,Fe(NCS)3 because of equlibrium of reaction.

in result it should not have same concentration. ( you have missed to mention some experimental data to write in your manual. but it will not same).

if all the SCN- is in the form of  FeSCN2+, then the equlibrium concentration will be too high.

because Keq=[FeSCN2+]/Fe3+][SCN-]

all SCN- is in form of  FeSCN2+ so [SCN-] will be zero. so Keq will be high.
