This is my project can you help me
Introduction Power plants The Rankine cycle is arn are industrial installations where the electric power is generated all over the world. idealized thermodynamic cycle of a heat engine that converts heat into ancl work while undergoing phase change. In a real Rankine power plant cycle (RRC), he eession by the pump (compressor) and the expansion in the turbine are not isentropic. In other words, these processes are non-reversible and entropy is increased during the two processes This sormewhat increases the power required by the pump and decreases the power generated by the turbine. Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC), as a RRC, follows the same principle as the Rankine cycle but uses organie fluid instead of water: In general, boiling point and heat of evaporation of the organic fluids are lower in comparison to water. Because of this, Your task is to carry ou required to analysis of the cycle components. kine power plant using two different Rankinc power plants, RRC and ORC. The results are used to .oo, mass flow rate one and leaves it with a quality of93% and apressure of 10 kPa. The pressure In the ORC, the proper organic working luid has yet to be determined and it is one of your main Project Scenario You are an engineer in a power plant industry and asked to carry out a preliminary Besin of a For the RRC, it was decided to have the superheatolsteam enters the turbine at SSo C with the of the return fluid to the boiler is 25 MPaP. o supply electric power required for a community usage with the population of 1000,000 tasks to propose a proper organic fluid. The only information about the system is that the system can only handle pure liquid organic with a boiling temperature belo 50 C. The pressure of the return fluid to the boiler is 2 MPa and the fluid leaves the turbine at 100 kPa. The ORC would produce the same amount of power as of the RRC. You are expected to conduct the power cycle plant design that meets the power demand based on the design constraints , Your short and final reports must include the following outcomes for each design: The literature review of the applied processes, technologies, thermodynamics concepts and laws in your designs. e Comparison between the two scenarios, RRC and ORC . The fluids properties before and after each component in a schematic process diagranm . Detailed calculations and steps directing you to the final conclusion. Explanation / Answer
This is a project supposed to be completed by finding practical data.
I would suggest you the steps you should go through.
First understand what is a Rankine Cycle exactly. It converts heat into mechanical work. Ofcourse, when we talk about conversion of energy from one form to another, the most important paramaeter is efficiency. A normal Rankine cycle plant consists of turbine, pump, heat sources, heat exchangers. Try to understand the role of all these instruments. Try to fit these details in introduction of your project.
Now, do some literature revies on this topic. You will be able to find out its importance in chemical engineering.
I am attaching link of some good research papers, where u can understand it. There are many other research papers which could help you to understand the topic.

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0360544212006019
That being done, now you need some experimental data, which you need to find online by researching on this topic. Compare the both cycles RRC and ORC. Include the comparison in your report in terms of advantages and disadvantages, and which cycles are better in which conditions. Try to find out which cycle can serve more efficincy.
Hope it helps !!!!
