Specific heat of acetone liquid = 125 J/mol K
Normal boiling point = 56 degreeC
Specific heat of acetone vapor = 87.53 J/mol K
Total heat to be removed = Heat required to cool vapor from 100 degC to 56 degC + Heat of Condensation + Heat required to cool acetone liquid from 56 degC to 25 degC = n x Cpg x (100-56) + n x Heat of condensation + n x Cpl x (56-25) = 100 x (87.53 x 44 + 30200 + 125 x 31) = 100 x (3851.32 + 30200 + 3875) = 3792632 J/ sec = 3.792 x 10 = 3792. 6 kJ/sec
