Formula:                 pH = pKa + log [ salt] / [acid] Data:            Total molarity = 0.29                           pH = 4.4                 Let [ salt] = x M                       [acid] = y M                        x + y = 4.4   --------1         Here theacid's pKa is not mentioned. By knowing the value andsubstituting in to the equation we will get x / y value. By solving the two value of "x" and value of "y" can be found.
