Question

Question 1:

SO4^2-(aq) 4H (aq) 2Br-(aq) --> Br2(aq) SO2(g) 2H20(l)

What pH is needed to produce this value of Q = 6.4x10^-26 if the concentration and pressure values are:

[Br2] = 2.50x10^-4 M

[Br-] = 12.00 M

[SO4^2-] = 10.00 M

P SO2 = 2.25x10^-5

Additional: I used this... x= [H+] in the equation...6.4x10^-26 = (2.5*10^-4)(2.25*10^-5) / (10) (12)^2 (x)^4... and solved to get x= 2795.08... pH= -log(2795.08) = -3.446... but pH can't be negative. Am I missing something here?
(question is about the Nernst equation)

Question 2:

The Ksp of CuI is 1.1x10^12. Find Ecell for the following cell:

Cu(s)/CuI(s)/I-(aq) (0.1M)//Cu2+(aq)/Cu(s)

Additional: I plugged Ksp into the Nernst equation to get... E = Eo - (0.05916/1) log(1.1*10^-12) to find Eo (assuming E=0 at equilibrium)... Eo= -0.70747J ..plug Eo into another Nernst eqn to find E... E = -0.70747 - (0.05916/1) log(0.1/0.1) = -0.70747... But mastering chemistry says its wrong! Also tried plugging Ksp into deltaGo = -RTln(Ksp) then deltaGo = -nFEo to solve for Eo.. but still not right.
