Question

can some help me with #7

these are some of the lines I've made in an experiment, thank you for the help & sorry if blurry that's the best I can do

For the electric dipole configuration, are any of the equipotential lines straight? Why or why not? 5. 6. For the electric dipole configuration, what would the electric field between the two poles look like if we swapped out the negative pole for another positive pole? Draw a sketch of what the electric field lines would look like for this new configuration. 7. For the electric dipole configuration, where is the electric field strength greatest?

Explanation / Answer

Answer: For the electrical dipole, the electric field strength is stonger at either poles of the electric dipole. Electric field strength is equally strong at both the poles. Electric field strength is weaker in the middle of the dipoles. And the same has been justified in the three figures provided by you (electric field strength is greater at poles).
