You will be given a list of court questions to include qualifying questions as well as questions that would likely be asked by the prosecutor and defense attorney. You will write the answers to these questions, show a synthesis of all the information learned not only in this class but also in previous investigative forensics courses.
For the Defense:
1. What’s the difference between verification and blind verification?
2. Is there bias in the field? Explain.
3. Are you familiar with the decision in the Rose case? Please Explain.
4. If you are using the scientific method in your work, what are the appropriate hypotheses?

6. Dissimilarity?
7. Is that the same as a difference?
8. How many differences have to occur in a print for it to be an exclusion?
9. So if you can explain a difference away you call it a distortion?
Explanation / Answer
Ans-1 verification is normally confirming something while blind verification include examination of every friction ridge by another examiner I.e. blind verifier.
Ans-2 according to ethics there is no bias in this field. Examiner does not take it personally and his moral duty is to provide justice in every case.
Ans-3 in Ross case the court consider that warrantless search of vehicle is not against constitution which falls under automobile exception.
Ans-4 the method used to analyse should be standard and the results should be reliable.it is necessary for proper justice that any method can be used but it should be least destructive.
