According to DoSomething.org following are the data for the Global Poverty:
More than 3 billion people survive on less than $ 2.5 a day, and more than 1.3 billion survive on less than $ 1.25 a day.
Around 1 billion are living in poverty and 22,000 die on daily basis due to poverty.

Population growth is related with the fertility rate and according to the UN report African countries will be on higher in population growth even after 2050.
According to the U.N., the industrialized nation's with 1/4 of the world population uses 3/4 of its energy and along with 85% of its wood products, 72% of its steel. It also liberates out 3/4 of all carbon-di-oxide emissions and 1/2 the amount of the greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
Well in the less developed nations the womens are treated as the second class citizen in the home, and every where they are not given equal status or attentions any where they are regarded as the slave under the hands of the family before marriage after marriage they enjoy the same status under husband domination. They are just regarded as the sex toy short of thing their opinion are not considered at all. Due to the low level of literacy among the womens this made them more dependent on the family, this lead to the less acceptance of the family planing this causes an huge contribution in the population growth on a global scale.
