This is regarding several different ways that water can be polluted, including inorganic pollutants such as acids or heavy metals, organic pollutants such as pesticides, pharmaceuticals and hormones and infectious agents that might come from animal or human wastes. We also consider what is cultural eutrophication, a process by which fresh or salt water can be overloaded with nutrients and harmed as a result.

The rivers which enters into the bay are as follows:
Luanhe river, chaobai new river, Duliujian river, north paishui river and Haihe river.
Oligotrophic water : This type of water is lacking the essential nutrients for life, therefore very little life is suppose to be sustain in this type of environment.
Eutrophic water: This type of water is just opposite of Oligotrophic water, as it contains excess of nutrients more than required.
These over excess of nutrients which contaminate the water can be done due to some anthropogenic activities like extra use of fertilizers, pesticides , chemical use for fast growing of agriculture etc.
