Here the least windy is the Atlanta because the contour lines are existed far each other. The intensity of wind is high when the contour lines are closer each other. More windy is at the New York because contour lines are far but not farer than at Atlanta. Even more windy is at the Oklahoma city because the contours are existed closer each other. Most windy is at Bismarck because the contours are very close to eachother than at any other city in the aboe map. The general wind direction is West to East. Because in the northern hemisphere, the wind in a high pressure system flows in clockwise direction out of the center, while in low pressure system wind flows in a anti clockwise direction towards the center. So here the central US dominated by low pressure system. So the anti clock wise direction here is west to east or southwest to northeast.
