The Food and Drug Administration does allow low levels of “foreign material” (sand, grit, burlap, cigarette butts, insects/parts/eggs, mouse poop, rat hair, maggots, parasites,) and others to be present in food, or its ingredients. However, there are no standards for disease causing organisms such as e-coli, or salmonella – which cause about 48 million cases of diarrhea each year.

It is a type of food borne illness and formed by spoilage of contaminated food. foods containing raw eggs or milk, such as undercooked French toast Bacteria, Viruses, Parasites, Prions, Chemicals are causes to spoil or contamination of food. Salmonella, E.coli, Norovirus, Mad cow disease are the main deseases caused by food contamination by different ingredients. So food packaging and marketing companies should obey food safety regulations and standards such as the HACCP.
