Part C: Determine the Accuracy and Precision of the Medical Syringe measured volume of water calculated volume of water % error | 10% L /m 6. The density of water is tabulated according to its temperature in Table 2. Find the temperature in Table 2 closest to the measured temperature of water. By using the corresponding density of water, calculate the volume of water from the mass of water for each measurement. Show your all work here and record the results in the table above (10 pts) to sss los3slanc (D roac2.1026s/m1@nes, 7. Use the calculated volume as a reference value and calculate the % error for each measurement. work here and record the results in the table above. (5 pts) Show your all 8. Calculate the average of the % errors for the first three measurements and the average of the % errors for all measurements. Explain how the average of the % errors changes as you increase the number of measurements Does the average of the % error improve as the number of measurements increases? Show your all work here. Explanation / Answer

7. Percentage error ca be calculated from the following formulae

Percentage error = [(Calculated volume of water - Measured volume of water) / (Measured volume of water)]x100

Measurement-1:

Percentage error = [(Calculated volume of water - Measured volume of water) / (Measured volume of water)]x100

= [(10.24 - 10) / 10]x100 = (0.24 / 10)x100 = 2.4%

Measurement-2:

Percentage error = [(Calculated volume of water - Measured volume of water) / (Measured volume of water)]x100

= [(10.14 - 10) / 10]x100 = (0.14 / 10)x100 = 1.4%

Measurement-3:

Percentage error = [(Calculated volume of water - Measured volume of water) / (Measured volume of water)]x100

= [(10.53 - 10) / 10]x100 = (0.53 / 10)x100 = 5.3%

Measurement-2:

Percentage error = [(Calculated volume of water - Measured volume of water) / (Measured volume of water)]x100

= [(10.26 - 10) / 10]x100 = (0.26 / 10)x100 = 2.6%

Measurement-5:

Percentage error = [(Calculated volume of water - Measured volume of water) / (Measured volume of water)]x100

= [(10.28 - 10) / 10]x100 = (0.28 / 10)x100 = 2.8%

8. Average of the percentage error for the first three measurements = (2.4%+1.4%+5.3%) / 3 = 9.1% / 3 = 3.03 %

Average of the percentage error for all the measurements = (2.4%+1.4%+5.3%+2.6%+2.8%) / 5

= 14.5% / 3 = 2.9 %

As we increase the number of measurements, the percentage error improves and the measurement approahes the most accurate one.
