Question

Genesis 2:7 states, “Then the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.” Job 34:14-15 says, “If God were to take back his spirit and withdraw his breath, all life would cease, and humanity would turn again to dust.” NLT The chemicals that make up our bodies are worth about $5.00. Adam and everyone else is a lifeless mass of dust until God gives them his “breath of life”. Discuss the relationship between the biblical use of the word “breath” or to “breathe”, and the physiological requirement for oxygen to keep our cells alive. (PLEASE DO NOT COPY WORD FROM WORD FROM A SOURCE!!) tHANK yOU:)

Explanation / Answer

Answer:

When we breath air is taken into the body and oxygen gets into the lungs, then through alveoli and blood vessles it gets absorbed. The nutrient compounds, inside of the cell, are oxidized through complex enzymatic processes.
Right levels of oxygen is required to support the cell respiration-energy metabolism.
Oxygen is electron acceptor in mitochondria.
Oxygen is taken up by the lungns and gets into RBCs-Red blood cells. Hemoglobin binds with the oxygen and forms oxyhemoglobin- making it red in color. Monooxygenase uses oxygen to catalyze many oxidation reactions in metabolism. Carbondioxide is released from the cells after the metabolism as waste product and gets transported to lungs - so blood carries this Co2 to lungs and this breathing in oxygen and release of carbondioxide process is repeated.
Human brain requires huge amont of oxygen, When neurons in a particular region of the brain are highly active, they consume a great deal of oxygen, which results in recruitment of extra blood flow to that region.
Unhealthy or weak cells due to improper metabolism lose their natural immunity and are thus susceptible to viruses and lead the way to all kinds of serious health problems.
Oxygen also helps to destroy pathogens from our body and do not affect good bacterial growth.
Oxygen creates 65% of human body mass. So we can say that oxygen is a vital component of chemical reactions in the body to keep the body alive and geneartion of energy. Brain cells are very sensitive to oxygen, death will happen within 9 mins if oxygen does not reach brain cells. So breath well and consume oxygen as much as you can--be healthy.
