Question
How to determine the enthalpy of reaction of 1M ethylenediamine and 0.1M copper sulfate in aqueous solution? This is for a lab where we used a calorimeter and measured temperature change of both solutions mixed in a styrofoam cup. I have the temperature change, and volumes of solutions written down in my results... but in general terms how would I calculate the enthalpy of reaction in this case? How to determine the enthalpy of reaction of 1M ethylenediamine and 0.1M copper sulfate in aqueous solution?
