Not vary sure for biological system, however just to help you some explaination. Please cross check which direaction you are looking for
1) Many of the times CO2 in air is absorbed by solutions which forms carbonic acid because of which we get higher pH. Thats the reason any freshly prepared DI, distilled, RO water over a period of time shows acidic pH
Other reason may be
2) effect of pH measurement temperature on electrode (effect of temp on electrode membrane permeability)
3) Also may be think of the effect of measurement temerature on the biological system
