1) This may cause formation of nitrogen bubbles, causing a choke in the body functioning like flow of blood, choking of nerves leading to a disease known as bend or decompression sickness.

2) Chemistry : During scuba diving the human body enters in the high pressure zone, leading to unwanted and more absorption of nitrogen in the blood. When the diver returns back to sea level (ground) the pressure again gets decreased causing the nitrogen to get converted as bubbles.

With the time the nitrogen is exhaled from the lung. If they opt a flight within few hours, the nitrogen may form bubbles in the body causing choking of the blood stream.

If they will get into flight, so it will cause a rapid fall in pressure, which may cause bends.
